ENTERPRISE BUS
Ex Southern Vectis 806 (FDL 927D), one of the I.W. Bus Museum's historic fleet, has been newly repainted in the colours of Wavell's Enterprise Bus Service. On Tuesday afternoon (14/10/08) this bus re-enacted a run on their service from Newport to Sandown . Sixteen descendants of operators Joseph, Joe and Jack Wavell, covering 4 generations, were amongst the passengers who made the journey. Sisters Joan Kirby and Kathleen Leal, grand-daughters, are seen with the family along side the bus. Also present were retired Southern Vectis busmen and Bus Museum members
