WORKSHOP NEWS & VEHICLE REPORTS

The two newest addition to the museum is ex SV 908 ( FLJ 538), repatriated from Holland by David Daniels and kindly donated to us. There's a little bit of restoration work to be completed.

This bus passed its MOT at SV on April 29th and fuel tank has been repaired.
 
This bus passed its MOT at SV on April 29th and is available for service.
 
This bus passed its MOT at SV on April 16th and is available for service.
 
This has had its roof recently repainted in Moss blue and is being prepared for an MOT.The braking system will need attention before this. Repairs to the roof have been completed and the damaged skylight has been replaced.
 
The over charging problem was found to be due to the regulator on the alternator which had failed! A new regulator was eventually found and fitted and MOT passed (16/10) at Cowes, just in time for a return to service for the Running Day!
 
Brakes are being stripped down for cleaning and repair in preparation for MOT
 
Panel and bodywork repairs completed and MOT passed 25/09. Now a repaint would be nice!!!

Work had started on rebuild the front panel and grill. Minor work is still required to the interior and a full overhaul of the brakes is needed.
